Invoke the Muse is all about connecting with your creative juicy'ness. This series is based on how I connect to mine. I'm hoping that a piece in your space will help you to connect to yours too. There are blessings and intentions of creativity and connection written under the paint.
I learned from Steven Pressfield in his book “The War of Art” the value of a prayer to our muse. I have a set of words I wrote to my higher self several years ago and it has stayed on my wall ever since. I read it aloud whenever I’m getting ready to paint. It’s an invocation to connect more deeply. To be open. I decided to create a new series of work based on this little prayer of mine. With the words written underneath each piece. ***Please note that colors may slightly vary from screen to screen.***

Each piece is an original 12" by 9" acrylic painting on 140# acid free, archival fine art paper. I used professional quality Golden brand acrylics and some inks, colored pastels, charcoal and white and black gesso. I finished each one with a heavy coat of glossy medium to seal them up and make them shine.
The 16" x 12" double mat is an optional add on for only $20. You will need to add a mat to your order for each piece you buy.
